Getting Around Venice

The Venice area is fairly easy to navagate. Simply keep in mind that Tamiami Trail is also referred to as US Hwy 41. Also note that Tamiami Trail/US Hwy 41 splits as it goes around the Intracoastal Waterway. Along Venice island, it is referred to as Tamiami Trail. Along the mainland side, it is referred to as US Hwy 41 Bypass. Sarasota, Laurel, Osprey & Nokomis are on the north side of Venice and Englewood and North Port are to the south.

To get to Venice from Interstate 75, exit onto S.R. 881 (exit 200) to enter the Nokomis area, Jacaranda Blvd (exit 193) to enter central Venice, or River Road (exit 191) to enter south/east Venice.
