A comprehensive website for job opening websites throughout Sarasota County. Additional information is available on-site concerning training, educational institutions, wage and labor market information, job search assistance, etc.

This is a regional website for job seekers in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. The site is maintained by the Sarasota and Manatee County Economic Development Committees. Instructions for application are provided and a resume builder and on line application is available through the site. Job search and application is free.

Job’s Etc has offices in Sarasota and Venice. The offices provide a wide range of free services including, job search strategies, resume writing and assistance with job search. All jobs are posted on-line and services are free. Job’s Etc is also partnered with The Employ Florida Marketplace at www.employflorida.com 

The Venice Herald Tribune has partnered with Monster.com. Job seekers can access position openings both on-line and in print in the local newspaper. The website offers career advice, resume posting and job search. Use of the website is free.

Free access and on-line application for jobs in the Sarasota County School system including instructional, non-instructional and administrative, elementary and secondary school vacancies at schools throughout the county. 

USF Sarasota-Manatee campus provides career advising and job search assistance for USF students and alumni. Students and alumni can search for part-time and full-time employment and internships on College Central. Students and alumni can also post their resume for employers to view. There is no fee for using on-line services. To search for employment or post your resume, log on to www.sarasota.usf.edu/CareerCenter, choose either “College Central” and “Student” or “Alumni”. First time users must register.

The Women’s Resource Center of Sarasota County helps women seeking employment by providing job search skills and employability training. Offices are in Venice and Sarasota and clients access job openings through the career advisor. A small donation is requested for services. Contactncarey@thewomensresourcecenter.org.
